About Program Totem, born as proposal constituted on the joint effort between dance and dramatic theatre, where there will be a scenographic design: a "Totem", made up of separable pieces that represent the concepts, traditions and customs related to gender, learned from childhood and from which they were created the scenes of the project.
The scenes / chapters are: * Children"s game * Colours * clothing * norms / concepts of gender
Destroying that "Totem" will be the purpose and goal to achieve in the audience and in ourselves. Given the times of difficultyand rethinking that we are currently going through, we will seek to generate consciousness and sensitization, in the first instance, towards Mexican society, then in an international field. We already presented our complete virtual show the last week (25,26 and 27 of June)and all this was possible because I won an economic grant of the Culture secretariat and the Cultural Center “Helenico”;national applicationas a contest, given by this 2 institutions in order to support all the artistic community in Mexico.
About Team Proyecto 3 was born from the original idea of Jorge Guillen, a contemporary stage artist who, without leaving his facet as an active performer, now as director / choreographer of this project; seeks with a slow but firm process, a place inside of the dance field in Mexico as well in an international scope. Sensations, for audience as equal for the performers, by the visual content and a characteristic stroke / body drawing, will distinguish the honest language as group"s personal stamp of Project 3 over time.
